The Story of Ramblas Siete
Ramblas Siete was born from a love of design and a traveler’s passion for the unique and handcrafted. The founder, an avid traveler, sought to connect with the world through its stories, customs, and art.
Years of exploration led her to markets and remote villages, collecting clothing, accessories, and household items rich in culture and tradition. Friends and family admired these finds, sparking the idea to celebrate artisans on a larger scale.
While the idea first came about in 2018, while the Founder was living in Bali, the concept took root in 2024 during a visit to Ecuador's Otavalo market, where, with local support, Ramblas Siete was officially launched.
Ramblas Siete debuted on Block Island with curated Ecuadorian items, later expanding to include treasures from Morocco and Mexico, each chosen for its authenticity and craftsmanship.
The name "Ramblas Siete" symbolizes the joy of wandering ("Rambler") and honors the founder's birthday and the seven continents ("Siete"). Today, it celebrates global artistry, supporting artisans and bringing their stories into homes across the U.S.
